Remodel Ready: 2024 Checklist for Your Italian Dream Kitchen

If you’re fed-up with your tired looking kitchen, it’s time to take action!

This checklist, curated by the experts at Veneta Cucine, will help you bring your dream kitchen to life in 2024!

Planning and Design Checklist

While you may be keen to get started on your kitchen remodel as soon as possible, you need to begin with a clear plan in mind.

1. Put together your budget

Determine exactly how much you are able to spend on this project.

2. Understand your needs

Think carefully about what you need in your kitchen, from basic kitchen stations to kitchen islands. Write down a list of your “needs” and “wants” and keep this to hand during the next stage of the process.

3. Plan out the layout

Once you’ve completed this step, it’s time to design the layout of your kitchen. While you may have a specific aesthetic in mind, try to think about the functionality of the space. For example, food prep stations should be placed as close as possible to the hob or oven, for ease of access.

4. Visit the Veneta Cucine Showroom

Once you’ve dealt with the logistics of your kitchen transformation, it’s time for the fun part – shopping! Start by a visit to the Veneta Cucine showroom, where you can browse a wide range of Italian Kitchen Cabinets and accessories. This includes the following:

LeMans Pull Out

LeMans Pull out are specially designed cabinets that allow you to make the most of the space you have available to you. These corner cabinets feature pull out drawers, which make use of otherwise inaccessible spaces within the Kitchen. Perfect for spice racks or general storage, Pull-Out cabinets are both highly efficient and stylish.

Veneta Groove

Veneta Groove

Veneta Grooves are equipped panels which again allow homeowners to make the most of space they have available to them. They are affixed to many different areas within the kitchen, serving as shelving, additional storage space, or as a way to elevate other interior design choices.

Veneta Step System

Veneta Step System

Veneta Step System is a “panelled unit which is installed between the base and wall units to complete the kitchen.” Again, it’s a great way to ensure your Kitchen is both functional and stylish, especially within smaller kitchens where space is limited.

5. Choosing Veneta Cucine Cabinets

When choosing which Veneta Cucine Cabinets are best for your home, you may want to take some of the following factors into consideration:

  • Appliance Integration. Think carefully about how the cabinets will integrate with (and complement) appliances or smart kitchen features. For example, you should choose cabinets that complement key appliances within the kitchen, such as the oven, stovetop and fridge.

  • Materials & Finishes. When choosing cabinets, you should also consider the different materials and finishes available. Not only is this important from an aesthetic perspective, but you may also want to take maintenance into account.

  • Installation. You may need some assistance when installing these cabinets, especially if you have little experience in kitchen remodelling beforehand.

  • Aftercare. Maintenance schedules can vary depending upon your choice of cabinet and the materials it is made from. However, many can be cleaned with traditional cleaning products.

Not only do we provide customers with access to some of the best Italian Design kitchen cabinetry around, but we’re also on hand to help throughout every stage of the installation process. Furthermore, our products come with a two-year warranty, and we’d be happy to provide you with additional advice and  guidance relating to care and maintenance!
